Pittsburgh Amends Paid Sick Days Act

Effective Jan. 1, 2026 Paid Sick Days Act amendments will change the accrual requirements and the amount of paid sick leave that must be provided under the new law.

Review the Department of Insurance (DOI) bulletin for updates to the state's Paid Family and Medical Leave program following the enactment of House Bill 128.

The new ordinance prohibits discrimination against an individual's status as a medical marijuana patient by certain employers, employment agencies, and labor organizations.
